The IIBA officially announced on 04 January 2011 that the new Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA) Exam is now available. I knew it was coming, but I just weren't quite sure when it would actually be available for you to take. As with the CBAP exam, the CCBA exam can be taken at computer-based testing centers worldwide, with over 400 testing locations in North America and more than 100 international locations. For those of you who applied using the online application late last year, this is great news indeed. It's time to finish up those studies and take that exam.
According to the IIBA's announcement, more than 500 applications have already been initiated from business analysis professionals in almost 40 countries around the world to sit this new exam. Many candidates have already been approved to write the exam, and the IIBA anticipates successful exam takers in the very near future.
